Here at The Dog Walker, my passion is to provide the best possible care for your VIPs (Very Important Pets).
Whether that be with regular walks, home visits or when you take a well earned holiday, you can relax in the knowledge that your pet will be in the best of hands.
I am based in Winthorpe near Newark and cover surrounding villages between Lincoln and Newark.

GROUP AND SOLO ADVENTURE WALKS
We tailor our Walks to suit your dog and have two options available:
Small Group walks of between two and six are a fantastic way for your dog to make new friends and have altogether more fun. Your dogs will enjoy different adventures from woodlands to riverbank and field walks taking in new sights and scents along their way.
To ensure a high level of care we keep group sizes to a maximum of six dogs and carefully match dogs to suit each other’s personality and energy levels.
Don’t worry, if your older dog prefers the quiet life or you have a reactive dog that may not be suited to group walks, we are very happy to take them on solo adventures and give them plenty of attention and games!

We all have busy lives and can need a helping hand from time to time, whether that be while you are at work, having a day out or a well deserved holiday, whatever the reason I am here to ensure your pet is well catered for.
I have several options available that can be tailored to suit your pet’s needs.
Option 1 – Puurfect for up to Three Cats
Cats can sometimes find it stressful being taken out of their environment to a cattery.
I can visit them in their own home and give lots of one-on-one attention to make sure they are happy and content.
Visits are 30 minutes each and include Feeding & Fresh water, Clean Litter Tray, Play time and Cuddles.
I can also administer medication if required.

Option 2 – Fantastic for Senior Dogs, or Puppies
Some senior dogs don't fancy lots of walking and puppies may not be old enough to adventure just yet,
alternatively if you walk your dog in the morning and night but need someone to let out at lunch this package is for you.

This 30 Minute visit includes feeding and fresh water, play and cuddle time, garden toilet break,
I will clean up any toilet accidents that may have happened.

This one hour visit includes a 30 Min Walk, Feed and Fresh Water, Playtime and Cuddles.

What's included?
Will My Dog Be On A Lead?
Our price includes collection and drop off at your home, transport to a suitable walking spot, a clean down with warm water at the end of the walk if your dog is dirty and a dry off with a towel. Water will be available during the walk and when we return to the vehicle, with your permission occasional treats will also be provided for your dog. Plus we can put fresh water down and if food is ready prepared we can feed your dog once back home. We will send you photos and updates of your dog having a great time.
Prior to walking your dog we will ask you to sign a document to either request your dog is to be kept on a lead or is permitted off lead time. If you prefer your dog to be on lead he will be kept on lead at all times within our care. We may decide to keep your dog on a lead if we feel that their recall is not reliable even if you have given permission for the dog to be off lead. We note that it is your responsibility to notify us prior to the walk should your dog come into season, in this situation we will keep them on a lead.
Will My Dog Be Left Unattended In The Vehicle?
We plan pick up and drop off routes to ensure dogs spend the minimum amount of time in the vehicle. Air conditioning is provided during warm weather and drinking water is available. We make collection and drop off as quick as possible and always park where we can see the vehicle.
Will You Clean My Dog Off If They Get Muddy?
If your dog gets muddy on a walk we give them a clean down with warm water and towel dry. Your dog may still be damp when we get back if they have a thick coat, if you would like them leaving in designated area please let us know.
Will My Dog Be Taken To The Vet If They Injure Themselves?
We will always contact you or your emergency contact so you can decide on a course of action. We will take your dog to your registered vet or a closer one if it is considered a real emergency if we are unable to reach you. We are Dog First Aid trained and always carry a first aid kit.
How Long Will My Dog Be Out Of The House?
Your dog will usually be out of the house for around two hours, this includes pick ups travel to the days walk site and drop offs, the walks may be slightly longer depending on the route. Your dog will always have access to water and air conditioning in the vehicle if the weather is warm.
Can You Hold Keys For My House?
We are happy to hold keys for your home, which will be securely stored in a locked safe separate from any identifying paperwork. We only access your home with an arranged appointment. We are fully DSB checked and very trustworthy.
Will you Walk My Dog In All Weather?
As long as we can safely walk your dog we will. To keep your dog safe during hot weather, depending on the temperature, we may carry out shorter walks in the shade or replace walks with home visits and toilet breaks, we will of course notify you prior if this is the case. During cold and rain we will keep them actively moving so that they don’t get cold.
What is Your Cancellation Policy?
You can cancel your walk free of charge if you contact us at least 24 hours before the walk is due to take place. If less than 24 hours, a full charge will apply.
